Why do I always fall in love with a woman who is so
wantonly insincere?
To me, to keep a promise is an absolute rule. A promise is
something almost sacred--it must be kept exactly no matter what,
an appointed time should not be defaulted even by a second !
To some people, however, a promise is nothing but a tentative
matter. They can change it as they please, even at the last
moment. They can forget it entirely if they want. How lucky are
they ! I am always a loser in this point.
