(移りかわる季節にあと何度めぐりあえるのだろうか。
ただ1度かぎりの人生と思えばなおいっそう心してこの目に
焼きつけておこう)
*とき:時、季節 *ただひとたびの:ただ1回だけの
As I get older, I've become more sensitive
about the changing
seasons. I came to realize though that nature
itself never
remain the same each year. For example, I
went to the Jindaiji
Botany Garden last autumn with the hope to
take the same
photos of maple leaves as the year before.
Soon I found out
that it was not possible because those trees
were not the same
ones that I saw one year earlier. If you
see something in nature,
we should realize that that would be the
only one time event and
we'll never have the same experience again.
In the same way, humans change even more
than naure- only
we do not notice it. We must hold dear the
relationships with
our friends, loved ones and others. After
all, We have only one
time to live. Am I really getting old?
