It seems I've come into a new phase of life. Yes, with an image of her
ghost. It has given me a clean image of truth, without any pretension or
wishful thinking. I've come to know who I am more clearly. (May 7, 2002)
THE RAIN by Solveig von Schoultz

The rain shook its hair out carelessly over the streets.
I stood in a doorway thinking of you.
The lamp whipped up thin threads of fire
before they plunged blindly to oblivion's
foot
Thus, lit by my heart
the darkness streamed out of you
past past

fallen into the dark.
