Spring is a glorious season but doesn't last long. It's most lamentable
that once thriving vegetation starts to wither as if its glory were nothing
but a dream. Then you'll see the young maple leaves sprout as if there's
nothing to worry about in the world. You may feel even jealous to see them.
However, I've decided to welcome them heartily since this is only a part of
life cycle. I am also marveled that some maple leaves are already coloured
as if to practice their future feast. ( May 8, 2007)
